TIPS TO SUCCESSFUL THRIFTING

1. Go shopping during the week, preferably Wednesdays. The stores are less busy and picked over.

2. Find out when your favorite stores tend to restock — that’s the absolute best day to shop because you’ll get the latest items.

3. Thrift online. If you don’t want to actually walk into a store you can now thrift online. Threadup, Schoola and even Goodwill have online shopping.

4. Small town thrift shopping can be the best. If you shop in wealthier neighborhoods just remember the prices will be higher.
